Our Saviour’s is working on a long range plan – a plan that prayerfully will bring greater strength, direction and stability to our congregation as we move forward into the future. We need positive minds and hearts to get this plan off the ground, the sooner the better. The process begins with a minimum of two work sessions for the purpose of studying, changing, correcting, deleting and adding to a rough draft document. Congregational input is paramount to the success of a long range plan that ultimately will be presented to the Church Council and congregation for approval. If you are interested in participating in this process, mark your calendars now.
The Turn Around Committee is putting together an ‘Action Plan” that will involve the entire OSLC congregation. . Special groups will be formed to carry out the tasks of putting into place specific programs such as expanded fellowship programs, new visitor greeting procedures, investigating Sunday School meeting places be expanded (possibly to Child Time), expanded Social Service programs, and new programs to educate members on how to “Reach Out” to our neighbors. These are just a few of the great ideas that were presented!!!
One great suggestion that was started is for ALL members to wear their name tags every week!!! If you need a name tag, please contact the Church office.
Again, EVERY member of OSLC should participate in some way! God has given each of us gifts and special unique talents that are needed to grow OSLC. Please contact Joanne Rehrig with any questions and ideas you may have!
