Join the Music Ministry of Our Saviour's! ***************************************************************************** It is almost time to begin our choir rehearsals for the 2010-2011 school year. Where did the summer go? I hope everyone had a great one - full of lots of rest and relaxation. Choir begins on Wednesday evening, September 8th at 6:00 p.m. IN THE CHOIR LOFT. Lots of exciting music is being considered - you will LOVE all of it. If you know of someone who can carry a lovely tune, invite them to come along with you. Or if you are hesitant about asking them, let me know and I will! Take care and I look forward to seeing you all on the 8th!! Sara Do you have a musical instrument sitting in the closet that you would love to get out & play again? Well, dust it off and come join the OSLC band! We get together & practice one evening a week for about 1 - 1 ½ hours & play at the 9am service once a month. If you are interested please contact Claudia Grunow or Sara Ericksen. If you know someone who isn’t a member of OSLC that might be interested please pass this information on to them & have them contact us. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. If you know of someone who knows how to carry a lovely tune, and can read a little music, invite them to come along with you. Or if you are hesitant about asking them, let me know and I will! This year we hope to advance our musical worship to include new types of musical gifts in our worship. We would like to identify those of you in the congregation who would like to explore sharing these gifts with the entire church. We would like to give you every opportunity to help lead us in worship by becoming a part of our Music Ministry. If you have an interest in participating with the choir, singing solos, playing a keyboard instrument or playing a musical instrument, please contact Sara Ericksen, our Minister of Music.


If you would like to participate in the Music Ministry of OSLC on a short term commitment basis, the "Guest Artist Series" is for you! You are invited to join the choir for reherarsals and singing on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings through Lent and Easter. Once Easter is over, so is your commitment. What a wonderful opportunity for those of you whose time is limited but would really like to participate in the Music Ministry of Our Saviour's. Please contact Sara Ericksen, our Minister of Music.
